On 23rd August, we successfully held a ceremony in Korea for the completion of our acquisition of CQV (101240.KS), an internationally well-known pearlescent pigment enterprise. Mr SU Ertian, our Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global New Material International (06616.HK), Mr. CHANG Kil Wan, the former President of CQV and Mr Lim Kwang-shui, the new President attended the ceremony and delivered speeches to witness this historic moment. After the completion of the acquisition, Global New Material International will become the largest shareholder and actual controller of CQV, and achieve financial consolidation in FY 2023.
On July 26th, Jiang Hao, member of the Standing Committee of the Xinbei District Committee of Changzhou and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Binjiang Economic Development Zone, led a team to visit GLOBAL NEW MATERIAL INTERNATIONAL for inspection and exchange. He had friendly discussions with the company’s Executive Director, Vice President Zhou Fangchao, Jin Zengqin, and other leaders on project cooperation.
On July 16th, 2023, Global New Material International (06616. HK) was listed for its second anniversary. In 2021, he boarded the stage of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange with two high-end new materials, and became the “only pearl material leader in the Hong Kong stock market”. By 2023, he acquired CQV, a famous Korean pearl material enterprise, and in March, when the mainland Hong Kong market ushered in the expansion of the interconnection mechanism, the full coverage of Shanghai-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect was realized. In just two years, the company has experienced leap-forward development and made great progress in all aspects. The internationalization process has been “accelerated” and an excellent report card has been handed over.
