Recently, Mr. LIM Kwang Su, vice president and CTO of GNMI and representative director of CQV, won the Chungbuk SME Entrepreneur Award by the local Department of SMEs and Starups of Chungbuk. On 26 May, the opening ceremony of the Shenzhen office of Global New Material International (GNMI) was held in Shenzhen. On April 25, permanent member of Liuzhou Municipal Party Committee and vice mayor Zhang Guoliang, together with vice mayor Lu Liuping and Wang Honghu, carried out a strategic study on emerging industries at GNMI. They were joined by Secretary of Luzhai County Party Committee Wang Yi and several other senior officials. Visiting guests were warmly welcomed by GNMI executive director and vice president Zhou Fangchao.

On April 18, Han Jinduo, director of the Science and Technology Industry Division of Shanghai Institute of Silicate, Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited Global New Material International for research, and had a discussion and exchange with leaders such as Zhou Fangchao, executive director and vice president of Global New Material International and Jin Zengqin and other leaders on industry-universal-research cooperation.

During the four-day Sanyuesan holiday, a traditional festival celebrated in Guangxi, many people enjoyed their leisure time comfortably. However, employees from production, R&D, and sales department of GNMI still stayed at their posts. They celebrated the festival with their devotion to their job, and worked in full swing with a firm belief in mind to strive for the achievement of the company’s annual targets.

In February 2024, the Phase II pearlescent material factory of Chesir was officially put into operation, marking the beginning of a whole new chapter in the company’s development. On 8 April, GNMI Chairman of the Board and CEO Mr. Su Ertian paid a visit to Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences with his team. They had an informal discussion with Mr. Shi Xun, deputy director of the institute, Mr. Han Jinduo, director of Industrialization Department, and relevant research teams. GNMI executive director and vice president Mr. Zhou Fangchao, Mr. Jin Zengqin, and director of Chesir Synthetic Mica Research Center Mr. Pan Zhixiong were also present.

On March 25, the groundbreaking ceremony of Global New Material International Asia-Pacific Headquarters and Surface Performance Material R&D and Production Base Project was held in Tonglu County, Hangzhou. Hangzhou Mayor Yao Gaoyuan attended the event, and Vice Mayor Sun Xudong announced the start of the construction. On March 14, Tonglu county party secretary Xia Jiliang visited the site of the Glob New Material International Tonglu project, encourage the company to seize the key period of the construction and put all sprint in the first quarter. On March 12, Gan Yi, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Liuzhou People’s Congress, led a delegation from Liuzhou Environmental Protection Agency to Global New Material International to investigate the ecological and environmental protection work of enterprises.
