After nearly half a year of preparations, the “Chesir New Materials R & D Center” of Hubei University of Technology was officially established on September 25 at Hubei University of Technology. Professor Defu Liu, President of Hubei University of Technology, Professor Dong Shijie, Vice President, Professor Zhang Yepeng, Director of Science and Technology Department, Xiaoling Ling, Director of Personnel Department, Hu Huawei, Secretary of School of Materials and Chemical Engineering, Professor Li Xuefeng, Dean, Professor Chen Meihua, Dean of School of Economics and Management Leaders and professors attended the unveiling ceremony together with Chesir Chairman and General Manager Mr. Su Ertian, Vice Chairman Mr. Zheng Shizhan and company technical experts.

On September 13, Li Gaonan, the director of Guangxi University’s Alumni Office, led the alumni association to Chesir to visit Chesir Chairman Mr. Su Ertian, Vice Chairman Mr.Zheng Shizhan, and Vice General Manager Jin Zengqin. The three alumni working at Chesir and visited Chesir Factory. Mr. Su Ertian, Mr. Zheng Shizhan, and Mr. Jin Zengqin warmly welcomed Director Li Gaonan and the team and expressed their gratitude for the care and support of his alma mater.

From September 2nd to 4th, the 2017 China International Trademark Brand Festival, co-sponsored by the China Trademark Association and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Industry and Commerce Bureau, opened at the Guilin International Convention and Exhibition Center. Guangxi Chesir Pearl Material Co., Ltd. appeared at the venue with the “Chesir” trademark and a series of innovative products, and was selected as the Guangxi brand to participate in the signing ceremony. The leaders of the China Trademark Association Wang Peizhang and the director of the Bureau of Industry and Commerce of the Autonomous Region Zhang Hong attended the event.

On September 2nd, Prof. Dong Shijie, Vice President of Hubei University of Technology, Prof. Zhang Yepeng, Director of Science and Technology Division, and leaders and experts from the School of Materials and Chemical Engineering visited Chesir to discuss matters related to school-enterprise cooperation. On August 31, the research team leaders such as Chen Linjie, deputy president of the Party School of the Autonomous Region, deputy dean of Guangxi Administration College, Li Bo, director of the Educational Affairs Office, and Zhao Yuzheng, director of the Economics Teaching and Research Department, attended the vice mayor of Liuzhou City, An Cheng, and the deputy vice president of the Party School of the Municipal Committee. On August 16, Liuzhou Municipal Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Mayor Liu Ke, and Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee Hao Xingguo, accompanied by Kuzhang, the mayor of Luzhai County, came to Guangxi Chesir Pearl Material Co., Ltd. for investigation and guidance. Chesir Chairman Mr. Su Ertian and General Manager Mr. Zheng Shizhan accompanied the investigation.

The chairman of Liuzhou Financial Investment Group and the chairman of Liuzhou Bank, Li Yaoqing, led the head of Liuzhou Bank Luzhai Sub-branch Yin Chunqing and other leaders to Chesir to go d into the workshop production line and investigate the production and operation of Chesir in the first half of 2017. On July 19, Wang Yuefei, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region People’s Congress and chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions, visited Guangxi Chesir Pearl Material Co., Ltd. for inspection and guidance. On July 8th, in order to further enrich the cultural life of staffs, create a good cultural atmosphere of Chesir, and promote friendly exchanges among chess lovers, the labor union of Guangxi Chesir Pearl Material Co., Ltd. and Liuzhou Chess Association jointly organized this “Chesir” Cup chess friendly. A total of 22 chess fans, including Meng Guangyuan, vice chairman of Luzhai County CPPCC, Hu Xinming, political commissar of Luzhai County Public Security Bureau, and Su Ertian, chairman of Chesir, participated.
