On March 17, 2026, a delegation of experts from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of University of Science and Technology Beijing visited Zhejiang Hongzun Technology Co., LTD., a subsidiary of Global New Material International, to conduct on-site inspections and special discussions on the research and development of synthetic mica technology, industrial applications, and university-enterprise collaborative innovation. Li Jingyuan, Vice Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of University of Science and Technology Beijing, Yuan Li, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Bureau of Tonglu County, and other relevant leaders and experts participated in the research. Jin Zengqin, General Manager of Zhejiang Hongzun Technology, accompanied the exchange with the company’s management and technical teams.
This research focuses on technological upgrading and transformation of the synthetic mica industry, aiming to bridge the gap between university research and enterprise engineering applications, promote in-depth integration of industry, university and research institution, and contribute to the high-quality development of the new materials industry. The expert team inspected the production site and gained a comprehensive understanding of the construction achievements of Zhejiang Hongzun in large-scale production of synthetic mica, process equipment, quality control system, etc., and gave high praise to the company’s technical strength and industrialization level.
Jin Zengqin, on behalf of Hongzun, welcomed the visiting leaders and experts and introduced the company’s development history, core technological advantages and medium – and long-term plans. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as performance improvement of synthetic mica, process optimization, expansion of high-end applications, and key technology breakthroughs. Experts from University of Science and Technology Beijing proposed constructive plans for the development of the enterprise based on cutting-edge scientific research achievements.
