Global New Material International (06616.HK) held a strategic meeting in Hangzhou on July 14. Dr. Su Ertian, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of GNMI, presided over the meeting and delivered a keynote speech. The core management of GNMI, heads of business units and teams home and abroad attended the meeting.
As half of 2026 has already passed，this meeting serves as a regular strategic review and planning session for the Group, where the results of the first half of the year are systematically reviewed and detailed plans for mid-term and long-term development are presented.

Global integration has been smooth and orderly, and synergy among various sectors has achieved initial results
The meeting began with a comprehensive and systematic review of the overall business situation and the progress of global integration in the first half of the year.
In terms of business fundamentals, GNMI’s various segments continued to invest dedicated efforts in core competitive areas, the competitiveness of main products was steadily consolidated, the customer service system and capacity layout were continuously improved, and the Group maintained a solid and orderly development rhythm amid fluctuations in the global industry environment, laying a solid business foundation for subsequent deepening of the global layout.
Regarding to global integration, with the successive integration of overseas business segments such as CQV and SUSONITY into GNMI’s global business layout, various integration efforts were continuously deepened with tangible results in the first half of the year, and multi-dimensional synergy effects gradually emerged.
Core Deployment:
Deepen full-chain collaboration and strengthen global development capabilities
Focusing on global division of labor, the meeting further clarified the collaborative positioning of each business segment, aiming to accelerate the formation of a complementary and interactive global industrial matrix:
- · SUSONITY: Focusing on further unleashing the value of global premium customers, integrating supply chain resources and implementing technical and process standards.
- · CQV: Focusing on core markets in South Korea and the Asia-Pacific region, building a distinctive and differentiated product portfolio of mid-to-high-end effect materials and flake alumina based on technological accumulation.
- · Chesir: Strengthening capability to deliver via all channels, cultivating a comprehensive customer portfolio, and safeguarding overall operational stability.
- · Synthetic mica: Serving as a substrate support unit for the whole industrial chain, undertaking the role of realizing independent supply of core raw materials, supporting cost control and supply chain security for the entire product line.
In respect to resource collaboration, the meeting made systematic deployment on global resource coordination and operational efficiency optimization. GNMI will further promote in-depth integration of SUSONITY’s overseas advanced technology, process standards and quality control system with well-established supply chain, large-scale manufacturing and engineering transformation capabilities in China. The Group will continue to optimize in areas such as localization of raw materials, cross-border process transfer, collaborative supply from six sites, and global warehousing and logistics integration to enhance the overall collaboration efficiency of global operation.
Long-term Layout
Expand strategic functional materials to build new growth curves
In the face of promising opportunities of new materials industry upgrade, GNMI will, on the basis of solidifying existing business, extend its reach in the application of high value-added functional materials. At the same time, it will use digitalization and AI as important tools to gradually empower customer insight, business management, supply chain and global collaboration, and continuously improve the overall operational efficiency of the Group with digital tools.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Su Ertian, in his concluding remarks, gave full recognition to the integration progress and synergy results achieved by the global team in the first half of the year and put forward clear requirements for the next stage of work.
