Global New Material International Won the “Technological Innovation Best Practice Award” at the 2026 Sino-European Corporate ESG Best Practice Conference

On June 26, 2026, Global New Material International won “Technological Innovation Best Practice Award” at the 3rd Sino-European Corporate ESG Best Practice Conference hosted by the Consulate General of China in Frankfurt for its outstanding practical achievements in green intelligent manufacturing and material innovation. As a high-standard and authoritative international exchange platform for ESG topics across China and Europe, this year’s conference, with the theme of “From Vision to Practice: Deepen ESG Cooperation and Jointly Build a Green Value Chain”, brought together representatives from the political, business and academic circles of China and the Europe to conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as low-carbon transformation, industrial ESG upgrading, and cross-border industrial synergy.

The conference features six awards: social responsibility, digital transformation, zero-carbon cities, environmental protection, technological innovation, and education and training. Two best practices and several outstanding practices are selected in each category, with technical support for the review provided by professional institutions such as TÜV Rheinland. The Technological Innovation Best Practice Award focuses on practical achievements in solving specific problems of sustainable development through science and technology innovation and assesses quantifiable results formed by enterprises in dimensions such as energy conservation and consumption reduction, resource recycling, clean production, and environmental governance.

  • Green and low-carbon intelligent manufacturing: Photovoltaic integration driving energy-saving transformation in manufacturing

Chesir, a subsidiary of GNMI, managed a 5.9MWp rooftop photovoltaic project using building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) technology, achieving energy conservation, emission reduction, cost reduction and efficiency improvement, providing an examplary practice path for the energy transition of traditional manufacturing industries.

  • Digital and intelligent upgrading: AI digitalization creating benchmark lighthouse factory

CQV, a subsidiary of GNMI in South Korea, introduced AI algorithms and big data technology to implement digital control over the entire production process of pearlescent pigments, shortening the manufacturing cycle by 25% and reducing the product defective rate by 30%. The factory was certified as a “K-Smart” lighthouse factory in South Korea.

  • Global collaborative layout: Jointly building a cross-border green value chain between China and Europe

SUSONITY, a subsidiary of GNMI, has established production sites in Germany, the United States and Japan. These sites are linked with manufacturing sites of Chesir in China and CQV in South Korea to build an integrated global production capacity network, promoting the green application of high-performance pearlescent materials in automotive coatings, cosmetics and new energy, implementing the “materials + innovation + all scenarios” strategy.

Zhou Fangchao, Executive Director and Vice President of GNMI, delivered a keynote speech of “Material Innovation and Sustainable Future” at the life science sub-forum of the conference. He pointed out that ESG has shifted from a compliance requirement to value creation and has become a core opportunity for long-term value growth of enterprises. GNMI has established a global ESG governance system directly managed by the board and is promoting low-carbon manufacturing across the entire industrial chain through the commissioning of large-scale synthetic mica green production sites and the substitution of bio-fermentation processes for traditional chemical synthesis; Since completing the acquisition of SUSONITY ten months ago, overseas sites have continued to operate at full capacity, the Frankfurt Innovation and Application Center has been officially put into use, the team has achieved a net increase in talent, Chesir and SUSONITY have opened up the Chinese and European markets through two-way cross-selling, and at the same time, relying on the global production capacity matrix in China, Germany, the United States, Japan and South Korea, the business of new materials for life science has been expanded.
