On April 29, Feng Jing, Party Secretary of the CPC Tonglu County Committee, led a delegation to the site of the 100,000-ton synthetic mica project of Global New Material International to conduct a special investigation on the production and operation effectiveness of the project and the advancement of the industrial chain layout, and to supervise and inspect key work such as safety production and emergency support during holidays on the spot, and to solidify safety responsibilities and refine promotion measures, push the project to move towards full production on the premise of ensuring safety. Ding Gan, Deputy Party Secretary of the CPC Tonglu County Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, Zhang Suping, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Tonglu County Committee and Member of the Party Group of the Tonglu County Government, and Fan Yu, Deputy County Magistrate and Director of the Tonglu Public Security Bureau, joined the visit together.
During the visit, Feng Jing inspected the production workshop, the central control room and the product exhibition hall on the spot. After learning in detail about the operation of the project and the implementation of safety responsibilities, he pointed out that major manufacturing projects are the “cornerstone” for the development of the county economy. It is necessary to solidify the main responsibility of enterprises for production safety, strengthen the business guidance of industry authorities, strictly implement operating procedures, and make good use of digital supervision means. To ensure a smooth and orderly production order, respect the ramp-up of production capacity, accelerate the progress towards full production line on the premise of ensuring safety, strengthen technological research and development efforts, and enhance the added value and core competitiveness of products.
He stressed that safety production is the bottom line and must not be neglected during the holiday season. Enterprises should shoulder their primary responsibilities, strictly enforce safety regulations, strictly control the entire process, regularly identify potential hazards, strengthen training for all staff, improve emergency plans, and fully ensure the safe, smooth and orderly progress of project construction and production and operation during the holiday period.
